MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 10th JULY 2025 AT 7PM AT CLLR. GRANTHMAS OFFICE.
Present: PC Simon Grantham (Chair), PC Jonathan Pearson, PC Clement Earle, PC Richard Scarborough, PC Jackie Morris.
Also present: CC Rob Kendrick, Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1. No residents attended.
2. Apologies for Absence.
2.1 PC Sarah Lawrence, PC Becky Shaw.
3. Minutes of Annual Parish meeting held on 15th May 2025.
3.1 The minutes were read and signed and confirmed as a true copy of the meeting.
4. Community Speed Watch.
4.1. Email response was discussed.
5. Play Equipment Inspection ROSPA.
5.1 It was agreed to continue with the inspection for 2025.
5.2 A litter picker and bin bags are to be purchased to keep the play park litter free.
6. Large Poppies purchase.
6.1 It was agreed to purchase 20 large poppies for Remembrance Sunday to be displayed on the High Street.
7. Moveable Speed Device High Street.
7.1 Data from the speed device is to be downloaded.
8. Progress and comments on digestor plant.
8.1 An update email was discussed from Dom Henry.
9. Change to .gov.uk by April 2026.
9.1 Clarification whether the change has to be implemented on the above is yet to be received. The Clerk to chase.
10. Planning Applications.
10.1 There were no planning applications received.
11. Financial Update.
11.1 Cheques written.

13. Any other business to be discussed.
13.1 It was agreed to purchase exterior Christmas lights.
13.2 It was agreed to donate towards the churchyard upkeep. The Clerk to sort.
13.3 It was agreed to donate to St Oswalds church upkeep. The Clerk to sort.
14. Date of next Parish Council meeting.
14.1 The next Parish Council meeting will be held on Wednesday 8th October 2025 at Cllr Grantham’s office in Pinfold Lane at 7pm.
