MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 15th MAY 2025 AFTER APM AT 7PM AT WALCOTT VILLAGE HALL.
Present: PC Simon Grantham (Chair), PC Jonathan Pearson, PC Clement Earle, PC Becky Shaw, PC Richard Scarborough, PC Jackie Morris.
Also present: Three residents, Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1. Three residents attended.
2. Election of Officers.
2.1 Simon Grantham was elected as Chair and he accepted.
3. Apologies for Absence.
3.1 PC Sarah Lawrence, CC Rob Kendrick.
4. Minutes of meeting held on 20th March 2025.
4.1 The minutes were read and signed and confirmed as a true copy of the meeting.
5. Proposed Anwick Bio-Digestor plant.
5.1. Updates to follow regarding proposed planning application.
6. Walcott AD Plant update.
6.1 An update was received and read out from Dom Henry.
7. New Play equipment and donation.
7.1 A slide is to be purchased from Caloo Ltd. A donation was gratefully received towards its purchase.
8. Catley Abbey.
8.1 Grass cutting was discussed for the car park and public footpath.
9. Online Banking.
9.1 Online banking facility has now been implemented for the bank account.
10. Planning Applications.
10.1 25/0517/FUL Field to rear of Coolings Farm, Long Drove change of use to dog training facility. No objections received.
11. Financial Update.
11.1 Certificate of Exemption 2024/25 to be signed and minuted.
11.2 Ann. Governance statement to be signed and minuted.
11.3 Accounting Statements 2024/25 to be signed and minuted.
11.4 It was agreed to accept Clear Councils Insurance renewal for 2025/26.
11.5 It was agreed to accept LALC Website invoice for 2025/26.

14.1 The next Parish Council meeting will be held on Thursday 10th July 2025 at Cllr Grantham’s office in Pinfold Lane at 7pm.
