MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 20th MARCH 2025 AT 7PM AT CLLR. GRANTHAMS OFFICE.
Present: PC Simon Grantham (Chair), PC Jonathan Pearson, PC Clement Earle, PC Becky Shaw, PC Sarah Lawrence, PC Richard Scarborough.
Also present: Two residents, Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1. Two residents attended to discuss Christmas lights.
2. Apologies for Absence.
2.1 PC Jackie Morris, CC Rob Kendrick.
3. Minutes of meeting held on 23rd January 2025.
3.1 The minutes were read and signed and confirmed as a true copy of the meeting.
4. School parking/Waiting restrictions.
4.1The Parish Councillors concerns are to be sent to Highway Services before 28th March.
5. Grass Cutting quotation playing field.
5.1 An annual increase of £3.66 + VAT from the contractor was received and discussed and approved.
6. Speed sign responsibility.
6.1 Sharing the task of changing the direction of the High Street speed sign and battery recharging was discussed.
7. AD Plant update.
7.1 Recent email update from Dom Henry was discussed along with the attachment.
8. Playing field equipment.
8.1 A new piece of equipment to be added to the playing field was discussed.
9. Planning Applications.
9.1 24/1130/FUL 30-32 High Street Proposed workshop/storage building – Decision notice.
10. Financial Update cheques written.

12. Any other business to be discussed.
12.1 Martin PC is to be contacted for any further updates to the proposed Metheringham AD plant.
13. Date of next Parish Council meeting.
13.1 The Annual Parish meeting followed by the Annual Parish Council meeting will be held on Thursday 15th May 2025 at the Village Hall at 7pm.
