MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 11th JANUARY 2024 AT 7PM AT CLR GRANTHAMS OFFICE.
Present: PC Simon Grantham (Chair), PC Jonathan Pearson, PC Sarah Lawrence, PC Richard Scarborough, PC Clement Earle, PC Becky Shaw, PC Jackie Morris.
Also present: CC Rob Kendrick, Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1 None attended.
2. Apologies for Absence.
2.1 CC Ian Carrington.
3. Minutes of meeting held on 5th October 2023.
3.1 The minutes were read and signed and confirmed as a true copy of the meeting.
4. Anaerobic Digestor Plant.
4.1 Updates were discussed.
5. Precept 2024/25.
5.1. It was agreed to keep the precept request at 0% so there would be no increase to residents council tax.
6. St Oswalds Church Donation.
6.1. An invite would be sent to the committee asking for a representative to attend the next PC meeting to discuss finances.
7. New Speed Signs.
7.1 LRSP are to be contacted regarding a site visit to discuss options.
8. ROSPA report and hedge cutting.
8.1 A new ‘No Dog ‘sign is to be fitted to the gate. A hedge needs cutting back. Simon to sort.
9. Community Speed Watch Update.
9.1 A report was read out from the team co-ordinator.
10. Martin Moor plant.
10.1 An update was received from Rob Kendrick.
11. Planning Applications.
11.1 23/1140/FUL Barn adjacent to The Springs -change of use to holiday lets. Agreed.
12. Financial Update cheques written.
12.1 The internal auditors yearly fee is to be increased.

The date of the next Parish Council Meeting will be on Thursday 14th March 2024 at 7pm at Cllr Grantham’s office in Pinfold Lane.
