MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 5th OCTOBER 2023 AT 7PM AT CLR GRANTHAMS OFFICE.
Present: PC Simon Grantham (Chair), PC Jonathan Pearson, PC Sarah Lawrence, PC Richard Scarborough PC Clement Earle.
Also present: Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1 None attended.
2. Apologies for Absence.
2.1 PC J. Morris, PC B. Shaw, DC Gill Ogden, CC Rob Kendrick.
3. Minutes of meeting held on 6th July 2023.
3.1 The minutes were read and signed and confirmed as a true copy of the meeting.
4. New Parish Councillor.
4.1 The new parish councillor was welcomed to the meeting.
5. Anaerobic Digestor Plant.
5.1. Updates were discussed.
6. Yellow Lines.
6.1. Still being considered for the High Street. Waiting for LCC Highways for update site meeting.
7. New Speed Signs.
7.1 Solar powered speed signs are being considered in the High Street for next year.
8. ROSPA play equipment inspection report.
8.1 Two new litter bins are to be purchased for the play park.
9. Community Speed Watch Update.
9.1 A report was read out from the team co-ordinator.
10. Churchyard cutting.
10.1 A resident is happy to keep the churchyard tidy. A cheque towards expenses has been raised.
11. Clerks laptop and expenses update.
11.1 A reconditioned laptop is to be purchased.
12. Planning Applications.
12.1 23/1140/FUL Barn adjacent to The Springs -change of use to holiday lets. (Circ. 6/10/)
