MINUTES OF THE WALCOTT PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 12TH JANUARY 2023 AT 7PM AT G.S GRANTHAM ESTATE OFFICE, PINFOLD LANE.
Present: PC Simon Grantham (Chair), PC Jonathan Pearson, PC Richard Scarborough, PC Sarah Lawrence, PC Jackie Morris.
Also present: Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1 There were no public present.
2. Apologies for Absence.
2.1 PC Becky Shaw , PC Graham Black, CC Rob Kendrick, DC Gill Ogden.
3. Minutes of meeting held on 20th October 2022.
3.1 The minutes were read and signed and confirmed as a true copy of the meeting.
4. Catley Sign completion.
4.1 The new information board is to be put in position.
5. Precept 2023/24.
5.1 The budget was discussed. The amount of £7182.79 was proposed to keep council tax bill increases at 0%.
6. Road situation.
6.1. PC Richard Scarborough to report potholes to Fix My Street in Butt Lane/West End.
7. Grass cutting churchyard.
7.1 Proposals for grass cutting the churchyard for 2023 are to be sought from the Churchwarden.
8. New Play Equipment.
8.1 The new play equipment, Hip Hop, is being well used.
9. Yellow Lines.
9.1 Highways to arrange to visit the High Street in 2023. Cllr Grantham to attend the meeting.
10. Planning Applications.
10.1 22/1705/PNAGR. Proposed grain store for storage and drying of cereals – Long Drove, Southfield Farm. Circ. via email 28/10/22
