MINUTES OF THE WALCOTT PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 16th MARCH 2023 AT 7PM AT G.S GRANTHAM ESTATE OFFICE, PINFOLD LANE.
Present: PC Simon Grantham (Chair), PC Jonathan Pearson, PC Graham Black, PC Sarah Lawrence, PC Becky Shaw.
Also present: CC Rob Kendrick (until 7.30pm), DC Gill Ogden (until 7.30pm), Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1 Three members of the public.
2. Apologies for Absence.
2.1 PC Richard Scarborough, PC Jackie Morris.
3. Minutes of meeting held on 12th January 2023.
3.1 The minutes were read and signed and confirmed as a true copy of the meeting.
4. Yellow Lines in High Street.
4.1 Waiting for Highways to arrange a site visit.
5. Village Hall Coronation Donation Sunday 7th May.
5.1 It was agreed to donated £500 towards helping the Village Hall to celebrate the coronation weekend.
6. Anaerobic Digestion Plant – Martin Moor.
6.1. CC Rob Kendrick updated the Parish Councillors on developments.
7. Anaerobic Digestion Plant – Walcott area.
7.1 CC Rob Kendrick will keep the Parish Councillors informed of any further developments.
8. Scopwick Solar Farm.
8.1 CC Rob Kendrick updated the Parish Councillors on developments.
9. Community Speed Watch update.
9.1 Training and equipment has now been received. A lockable unit to store equipment is to be purchased and sited at the Village Hall. The Clerk to sort.
10. ‘The Pads’ fence.
10.1 The footpath officer at LCC is to be contacted to confirm widths of footpaths.
11. Churchyard Grass Cutting.
11.1 The Churchwarden updated the Parish Councillors with the upkeep of the churchyard.
12. Planning Applications.
12.1 None.
13. Financial Update cheques written.

The date of the next meeting will be the Annual Parish Meeting followed by the Annual Parish Council Meeting to be held at Walcott Village Hall on Tuesday 16th May 2023 at 7pm.
