MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON 21st MARCH 2019 AT CLLR. GRANTHAMS OFFICE AT 7PM.
Present: PC S. Grantham (Chair) PC R. Scarborough (Vice Chair), PC S. Lawrence (Deputy Vice Chair) PC G. Black PC J. Pearson PC G. Flatters PC J. Morris.
Also present: CC G. Ogden, Mr Sewell, Rhea Musgrove, Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1 A resident gave their support to the possibility of a pedestrian crossing on the High Street. A village survey is planned in the next few weeks by LCC Highways.
1.2 Details were given on the publication of the new Walcott Warbler a quarterly newsletter with village news.
1.3 Mr Sewell read a report on Walcott Primary School with its news and future aims of the school.
2. Apologies for Absence.
2.1 None.
3. Notes of the last meeting held on 10th January 2019 to be confirmed and signed as minutes.
3.1 It was resolved to accept the minutes.
4. To discuss regular spot in the Walcott Warbler.
4.1 It was suggested to ask elderly residents of Walcott for their memories of ‘old Walcott’ to be put forward to the publication.
5. To discuss Speed Checks in Walcott.
5.1 The outcome of the recent police speed check in the village was discussed.
6. Adoption of Code of Conduct.
6.1 The NKDC Code of Conduct is to be circulated for approval.
7. Financial Matters - Financial report and accounts for payments.
7.1 Lincoln Association of Local Councils renewal 2019/20. It was agreed to renew the subscription.

10.1 Contact Chris Marsh from LCC Public Rights of Way for possibility of ‘Stepping Out’ leaflet of Walcott’s walks.
10.2 Enquiries are to be made regarding the possibility of regular grass cutting to the car park at Catley Abbey.
11. Date of next meeting.
The date of the next Walcott Parish Council Parish meeting will be the AGM to be held on Thursday 9th May 2019 at 7pm at St Oswalds Church (if permitted)
