MINUTES OF THE WALCOTT PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 20th OCTOBER 2022 AT 7PM AT G.S GRANTHAM ESTATE OFFICE, PINFOLD LANE.
Present: PC Simon Grantham (Chair), PC Jonathan Pearson, PC Richard Scarborough, PC Graham Black, PC Jackie Morris, PC Becky Shaw.
Also present: CC Rob Kendrick (arrived 7.30pm), Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1 There were no public present.
2. Apologies for Absence.
2.1 PC S Lawrence, DC Gill Ogden.
3. Minutes of meeting held on 28th July 2022.
3.1 The minutes were read and signed and confirmed as a true copy of the meeting.
4. Playing Field fencing.
4.1 New fence panels are to be paid for.
5. Community Speed Watch update.
5.1 Training is due to be started for the ten volunteers.
6. Schools new books programme.
6.1. A donation to the school to be agreed and made.
7. Village Info. board.
7.1 Display and layout to be discussed.
8. New Play Equipment.
8.1 The new play equipment is due to be fitted in early November.
9. Planning Applications.
9.1 There were no planning applications to be discussed.
10. Financial Update cheques written.

10.1 It was agreed to renew Campaign to Protect Rural England subs. for 2022/23.
10.2 It was agreed to donate to Citizens Advice Mid Lincolnshire based in Sleaford for 2022/23.
11. Correspondence
11.1 Village Hall – Dates for May 2023 Annual Parish meeting given.
11.2 Mrs Mary Kinds School – Usbourne Books money pledge.
12. Any other business to be discussed.
12.1 Yellow lines in the village. Highways to be contacted to chase up meeting.
12.2 LCC volunteering days are to be discussed at the next meeting in January.
13. Date of next meeting.
The date of the next meeting is to be held on Thursday 12th January 2023 at G.S Grantham Ltd Estate Office in Pinfold Lane at 7pm.
