MINUTES OF THE WALCOTT PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 28th JULY 2022 AT 7PM AT CLLR GRANTHAMS OFFICE.
Present: PC Simon Grantham (Chair), PC Jonathan Pearson, PC Richard Scarborough, PC Graham Black, PC Sarah Lawrence.
Also present: CC Rob Kendrick, Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1 There were no public present.
2. Apologies for Absence.
2.1 PC J. Morris, PC B. Shaw, DC Gill Ogden.
3. Minutes of meeting held on 19th May 2022.
3.1 The minutes were read and signed and confirmed as a true copy of the meeting.
4. Yellow Lines in High Street.
4.1 Highways are to be contacted for the possibility of yellow lines on the High Street.
5. Gravel Hill Drove works.
5.1 Verge and road repairs have been carried out to the road. A letter of thanks to be sent to Highways.
6. Catley Priory sign version (2) village version.
6.1. A second version of the Catley Priory sign is to be positioned in the village with information about the priory and landmarks of the village.
7. Code of Conduct adoption approval.
7.1 It was agreed to adopt the NK Code of Conduct. The Clerk to notify the Monitoring Officer at NKDC.
8. Financial Regulations approval.
8.1 It was agreed to adopt the Financial Regulations.
9. Planning Applications.
9.1 22/0660/FUL The Plough Inn 53 High Street. Retrospective planning for siting of static caravan for residential use. It was resolved to refuse the application.
10. Financial Update cheques written.
13. Correspondence
13.1 Village Hall – Platinum Jubilee Celebrations flyer.
13.2 NKDC Police – Quarterly Briefing 2022.
13.3 Walcott School – Thank you letter.
13.4 CABD – Donation request 2022/23.
13.5 Clerks & Councils Direct – March 2022.
14. Any other business to be discussed.
14.1. There was no other business.
15. Date of next meeting.
The date of the next meeting will be the Annual Parish Meeting (previously AGM and first one since 2019) and is to be held on Thursday 19th May 2022 at 7pm at St Oswalds Church. It will then be followed by the Walcott Annual Parish Council Meeting.
