MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON 16th January 2020 AT CLLR GRANTHAM’S OFFICE AT 7PM.
Present: PC Simon Grantham (Chair), PC Gillian Flatters, PC Richard Scarborough, PC Sarah Lawrence, PC Jonathan Pearson, PC Graham Black.
Also present: DC G Ogden, CC Rob Kendrick, Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1 None.
2. Apologies for Absence.
2.1 PC Jackie Morris.
3. Notes of the last meeting held on 24th October 2019 to be approved as minutes.
3.1 It was resolved to accept the minutes. The minutes of the last meeting were confirmed and signed.
3.2 The Clerk to ask for a reply from St Oswald’s Church re letter sent regarding the upkeep of the churchyard.
4. To discuss Precept 2020/21.
4.1 The amount is to be kept as the same as last year’s Precept. The Clerk to send paperwork to NKDC.
5. Playing Field issues – Footpath and Birds.
5.1 A quote is to be obtained from the original company who laid the footpath, to repair it. Cable ties are to be purchased to stop birds landing on the swings.
6. Zebra Crossing.
6.1 An assessment is due to be carried for a decision to be made.
7. Village Gateways.
7.1 The Clerk to complete forms from Highways for the siting of the gateways.
8. Potholes.
8.1 Potholes in the village are up to date. Subsidence in Digby Road is to be reported to Highways. The Clerk to sort.
9. Financial Matters - Financial report and accounts for payments.

13.1 The Chair reported that builders are parking on the High Street causing obstruction on the footpath etc.

The date of the next Walcott Parish Council Parish meeting will be held Thursday 19th March 2020 at 7pm at Councillor Grantham’s office.
