MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 23rd JULY 2026 AT 7PM AT CLLR. GRANTHAMS OFFICE.
Present: PC Simon Grantham (Chair), PC Jonathan Pearson, PC Richard Scarborough, PC Sarah Lawrence, PC Jackie Morris.
Also present: Tracy Martin (Clerk).
1. Public Forum.
1.1. No residents were present.
2. Apologies for Absence.
2.1 PC Becky Shaw, PC Clem Earle, DC Rob Kendrick.
3. Minutes of Parish Council meeting held on 14th May 2026.
3.1 The minutes were read and signed and confirmed as a true copy of the meeting.
4. Playing Field new lease update and responsibilities.
4.1. The five yearly opt out clause is to be asked to be changed. Cllr S Lawrence to discuss with NKDC.
5. Playing Field old lease and responsibilities.
5.1 The old lease was circulated and discussed.
6. Speed Data Update.
6.1 New figures were received and circulated.
7. Save a Life training at Village Hall.
7.1 It was decided not to contribute towards the training organised by the Village Hall committee.
8. Extra brown bin for churchyard.
8.1 It was agreed to pay for an extra brown bin for the churchyard grass cutting.
9. War memorial cross quote
9.1 A quote is expected from Skillingtons in Grantham.
10. Planning Applications.
10.1 25/1448/FUL- 12a West End, Removal of existing conservatory and erection of single storey rear extension Circ 16/06.
11. Financial Update.
11.1 Payments made.
