Walcott is situated 15 miles south of Lincoln and close to Billinghay with a population of 566 residents. The land to the east of the Parish is in the fens whilst to the west, including Catley Abbey, is higher ground. Two excellent schools (one being a play school) and various businesses are present. There is a large village hall with ample parking, a village pub and the church of St Oswalds.
