We are asking for residents to form a sub-committee so that this scoping opinion and the planning application can be fought for what is best for the village and its residents. Maps and the covering email from LCC are in the village noticeboard as well as attached to the website for you to inspect. I am writing to notify you that a request has been received for a Scoping Opinion regarding the above.
The project is connected with a development that constitutes a Schedule 2 development pursuant to the above Regulations and therefore must be accompanied by an Environmental Statement.
To assist in the preparation of the Environmental Statement the applicant has requested a 'Scoping Opinion' on the information that should be included in the Environmental Statement, rather than the development.
I therefore enclose a copy of the request and supporting information and should be grateful to receive any comments you may have on this request within 21 days of the date of this email.
